Sales Engineer

Overview:

ClickIt is a well-established engineering/information based technology company that develops and manufactures a complete line of advanced, easy to use HVR, DVR, and NVR video surveillance systems supporting a wide selection of IP cameras. ClickIt systems are designed for integration into the most demanding retail environments. ClickIt’s also offers a cloud based Central Management System that monitors the health and well-being of ClickIt video systems.

ClickIt is headquartered in Hauppauge, NY and has a research and development facility in Winston Salem, NC. Position Details:

  • Schedule appointments with perspective customers to review service requirements and assess and develop opportunities.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and potential clients.
  • Conduct sales presentations with current and prospective customers.
  • Establish and maintain a long-term relationship to maximize future revenue opportunities.
  • Update all current customers on new service offerings, as well as the changes and enhancements to existing services.
  • Participate in local and regional networking events during and after, normal business hours.
  • Involved in all phases of the sales lifecycle including: identifying and prospecting leads, outreach, selling products/offerings, marshalling internal resources and helping maintain the ongoing relationship and upselling solutions where warranted.
  • Interact with cross functional business leadership teams.
  • Remain up to date of competitors’ activities and competitive offerings.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in selling and securing business.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Requires travel to prospective clients and on other job related business.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in business or technology related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of successful overall sales experience.
  • Sales/Business development experience.
  • Strong track record of success driving revenue through prospecting, creating new business and sustainably growing existing business.
  • Customer centric, consultative solutions sales approach focused on client’s initiatives and metrics for success.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability adapt to changing environment quickly and easily.
